We are building our installer list and do not currently operate a verification programme, so we make no licensing or insurance representation on their behalf. Utah exempts building alteration and improvement work from licensure when the agreed value including labor and materials is less than $7,000, and tile is not one of the carved-out trades; work that legally requires a licensed contractor, including any plumbing change behind a shower, should be done by an appropriately licensed professional.
