Do small bathrooms cost less to tile?
Less area usually means less material, but small rooms are not proportionally cheaper, because the cuts, corners, and edges are most of the labor and a small bathroom has nearly as many as a large one. If an independent local installer is available for your job, that installer gives you their own estimate and you agree it directly with them before any work starts.
Is a compact Kearns bathroom harder to work in?
It is tighter rather than harder, and it does change the sequence: there is less room to stage material and less room to work around a set floor. It also means the room is out of service for the duration rather than partly usable, which is worth planning around if it is the only bathroom.
